What you need… Knox gelatin Vanilla Vodka Sweetened Condensed Milk Oreo Cookies
What to do… 1.Remove the centres of the Oreos, place in a bowl 2. Mix in the condensed milk. 3. Sprinkle knox over the top and allow to sit for a few minutes before mixing (You have to allow gelatin to expand before mixing or heating, in a way like yeast) 4. Place mixture of condsensed milk, oreo cream and gelatin in a saucepan. 5. Over low heat and stir until combined (The heat is need to activate the gelatinous properties of the knox) 6.Allow to cool and add the vanilla vodka. 7.Place in fridge until mixture thickens into a dough like consistency. 8. Roll the oreo cream, condensed milk, knox and vodka mixture into balls and squish between the cookie halves.
Have been researching this one Jello Shot for 3 hours. As near as I can figure out, the average shot recipe with 60-80 proof is made with 2 cups of combined liquid for 2 packs of Knox gelatin. I am going to try 2/3 cup Vanilla Vodka, 2/3 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk and 2/3 cup Oreo Filling. I will post if it works.
